Announcing A New Odyssey Event: The Bay Bridge Swim
Since 2013, Odyssey Open Water Swimming has been hosting fun, safe, and exciting open water swimming adventures in the East Bay. Odyssey is thrilled to offer a new, one-of-a-kind swim – the Bay Bridge swim.
The swim will take place on the western part of the Bay Bridge, beginning near Yerba Buena Island and finishing in San Francisco. The swim is not recommended for novice swimmers. If wanting to join us for this event, you should be able to do 105 lengths of a 25-yard pool. The Bay Bridge swim is approximately 1.5 miles and intended for strong swimmers. The cost of the event is just $135 if registering prior to one month before the swim. The Bay Bridge swim will take place on September 19, 2020, so register by August 19 to save $50 ($185 if registering after August 19).
Registration will cover the swim, kayak support, event t-shirt, and yellow swim cap. Our team will take pictures of the event to share on social media.
