Six Odyssey Alcatraz Swims Coming in 2024: Registration Now Open!
The World-Famous Odyssey Alcatraz swim is back for another season. The 2024 Odyssey Open Water Swimming schedule will feature six Alcatraz swims, each beginning just outside Alcatraz Island and finishing roughly two miles later at the St. Francis Yacht Club.
The Alcatraz swim is for relatively strong swimmers with experience swimming in the open water.
2024 Odyssey Alcatraz Swims
The first of six Odyssey Alcatraz swims will take place on June 1st, and registration is now open. Odyssey’s June and July lineup will each feature two Odyssey Alcatraz swims, followed by one Alcatraz swim in August and November.

Each of the six swims are currently limited to 24 participants. As swims sell out and waiting lists fill, additional spots may become available depending on the availability of our safety support team. Learn more about paddling with Odyssey here.
