The 2024 Odyssey Open Water Swimming schedule has been finalized and registration for all 2024 events will open shortly.

Note: All dates are subject to change based on Coast Guard approval and weather conditions. Space is limited for all major events. Claim your spot as soon as possible.

Yerba Buena Crossing (Bay Bridge Swim): 10/12

The Odyssey Bay Bridge is back for its third year! In this unique event, you’ll swim along the western span of the San Francisco Bridge. Swimmers will begin near Yerba Buena Island and head west, finishing in San Francisco. The 1.75-mile swim is for relatively strong swimmers.

Odyssey Bridge to Bridge Swim: 7/20, 8/31

The Bridge to Bridge swim is a favorite among open water swimmers and one of the most challenging crossings in the Bay Area. The 6-2-mile swim begins at the historic San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge and finishes under the Bay Bridge swim.

Our 2024 schedule features two Bridge to Bridge swims, on July 20 and August 31. Space is limited to 20 swimmers in each swim. Every swimmer will have their own dedicated paddler.

Registration will open shortly for all events. Stay tuned!
