Happy New Year from the Odyssey Open Water Swimming team!
We are excited to be back for our ninth year and we have a lot of exciting changes in store for you and the open water swimming community. We recently shared the following updates with our mailing list. Here they are in case you missed the email.
Berkeley Swims @ 10
Weekly Sunday Berkeley swims are returning to 10am from now until May. As always, swimmers need be out of the water before 11:30. All experience levels are welcome at these swims, and our coaches are present to give briefings and answer questions. We plan to expand the hours again in May.

Introducing Technique Clinics!
We will be adding technique-specific learning opportunities at the Berkeley swims starting in May. Swimmers can look forward to several important topics that will improve your swimming. Topics will include the following:
sighting,
body position,
efficient pulling,
cold water acclimatization,
and more.
Introducing Marathon Swim Training!
Ever wonder if you have what it takes to swim the English Channel or the length of Lake Tahoe? Maybe another long distance swim has been on your mind?
You’re in luck!
We will soon be offering comprehensive training programs for those who want to push their limits with longer distance swims. Our coaches, including Coach "Triple Crown Conny," are excited to help you on this journey!
