Odyssey OWS Selected in 2022 “Best of Berkeley” Awards for Outdoor Recreation

2022 has been a huge year for Odyssey Open Water Swimming. From new events taking off, including the Rat Race, to events selling out, including the Bridge to Bridge swim, to adding events because of your incredible support, we are thankful for everything that has come our way in the past year. 

We received yet another surprise this week! 

Odyssey Open Water Swimming has been selected as the Winner for the 2022 Best of Berkeley Awards in the category of Outdoor Recreation. Additional winners of the award will be contacted over the next several weeks and will be listed on the official Best of Berkeley website here. 

Berkeley Award Program 

The Berkeley Award Program honors the accomplishments of local businesses in the Berkeley area. “Recognition is given to those companies that have shown the ability to use their best practices and implemented programs to generate competitive advantages and long-term value.” 

Companies selected “help make the Berkeley area a great place to live, work and play.” We pride ourselves in giving the Bay Area (and beyond) safe, fun, and challenging adventures in the East Bay.
