Buoy Selfies are Back at Odyssey Open Water Swimming!

The #buoyselfie is back!

After taking more than a year off, the Odyssey Open Water Swimming GoPro camera is back home to its favorite buoy on the Odyssey Berkeley swim course. For several years, Berkeley swimmers have been taking buoy selfies during Odyssey Berkeley swims. These selfies have been fun, creative, wild, and more, and we have fun seeing and sharing them with the open water swimming community.

To allow Odyssey to provide a completely contact-less experience, the GoPro camera was removed in March of 2020. During the 6/1 Tuesday Berkeley swim, the GoPro was returned to the buoy and swimmers can now take buoy selfies.
