New Odyssey Alcatraz Swim Added! Join Us November 13
Join us for a special Odyssey Alcatraz swim on November 13, 2021. After receiving over 60 requests on our last swim’s waitlist, we had to find a way to add a 5th Odyssey Alcatraz swim to our schedule this year. The new Odyssey Alcatraz swim is all set for Saturday, November 13 at 7:30 am. There are 60 total available spots, however, we are already making plans to accommodate additional swimmers if there are swimmers on the waitlist. As of 10/12, there are still over 40 spots available, so sign up now!
About The Odyssey Alcatraz Swim
The Odyssey Alcatraz swim is the ultimate Bay Area open water swim. This friendly swim is a great opportunity to train, test yourself, and enjoy an unforgettable experience. The swim is approximately 2-miles, beginning just outside of Alcatraz Island and concluding at the St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco. This swim is not recommended for new swimmers. Before participating in the Odyssey Alcatraz swim, you should be able to comfortably swim 140 lengths of a 25-yard pool without stopping. Swim support staff will escort you from Alcatraz Island to St. Francis Yacht Club.
The Odyssey Alcatraz swim is $175 if registering more than a month in advance of the event. The regular rate is $225 (within a month of the event). Registration includes an event t-shirt and a yellow silicone Alcatraz swim cap. The time of the swim will depend on the conditions of the water. Swimmers will be emailed before the event with complete details.
